Kelly Farmer coordinates Center for Student Opportunity’s Counseling Outreach Initiative. She is the lead liaison with the initiative’s partner, National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and oversees the development of curricula for volunteer college counselors to utilize in their pro bono partnerships with under-resourced schools and community youth organizations.
Kelly holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Maryland and currently works full-time as assistant director of admissions at Villa Julie College. She is a graduate student in the Higher Education master’s program at University of Maryland, College Park with research interests surrounding college access and affordability for first-generation students.
