FYI (First Year Initiative) Program
The FYI (First Year Initiative) program is designed to ease the transition for new students to Agnes Scott College through required weekly meetings organized around topics or helpful information. The group, facilitated by staff and student leaders, introduces students to many services and traditions at the college. Each FYI group includes approximately 15 new students, a staff coordinator and two returning students. The ASAP (ARCs Supporting Academic Progress) program is coordinated by students serving as Academic Resource Coordinators (ARCs). Coming to college is a big transition. The ASAP program is designed to give first year students living in the residence halls academic tips and tools to help them succeed during their first semester at UWS.
