CSO receives gift from Kenneth Cole Foundation

Center for Student Opportunity is pleased to announce the Kenneth Cole Foundation as its newest supporter. Kenneth Cole is founder, president, and CEO of Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc., a fashion company specializing in shoes, clothing, and accessories. He and his company have garnered worldwide attention for their social consciousness and philanthropy, and an ongoing portion of the company's marketing budget continues to be dedicated to public awareness initiatives. Efforts spearheaded by the Kenneth Cole Foundation include American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR), HELP USA, and MENTORING USA.

Kenneth Cole is also the seed benefactor of
Emory University's Community Building Fellows Program, of which Center for Student Opportunity's Executive Director, Matt Rubinoff, is an alumnus.

CSO College Center Ask the Experts article library expands with addition of Take a Closer Look alumni profiles

In partnership with The Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE), CSO College Center’s Ask the Experts article library now includes a collection of alumni stories from COFHE's Take a Closer Look publication. The articles encourage a closer look at the ways that COFHE schools - and many others like them - serve the public through the opportunities they provide, the values they instill, and the significant commitment they make to financial aid.
KnowHow2Go Campaign Launched

Lumina Foundation has joined with the American Council on Education and the Ad Council to launch a new campaign dedicated to raising awareness among low-income students about the critical steps they need to take to get to college. The campaign, KnowHow2Go, encourages students to take these steps and connects them with helpful information and resources.
